I think that partly the reason is in this - the love to an idol is a very private affair, almost intimate. Also it is possible to assume that in something admirers are similar to competitors in some business. These competitors can communicate and solve any general questions, but extremely seldom they become true friends.

On the other hand, music is the thing which is necessary to be listened, instead of to be discussed about it. Therefore certainly it is possible to discuss any themes connected with the music, but thus everyone remains with his opinion. But in any case the author can slightly open true only...

LRC, I completely agree with you. It would have proved more beneficial to upgrade this forum before SOL promotion.
Never mind, it is done now. We can only hope the move comes soon and that those fans already registered come back and stick around.

Each countries sade.com web sites do not give a link to the forum, that may also be 1 of the reasons why it may be a little quiet.

But def. this forum is not user friendly, shame they did not work on it before the launch of SOL

Yes, Disagreements happen on and off the boards...Disagreements are a part of life...Maybe not allowed here,lol but they will happen if any REAL discussions take place here in OFF TOPICS......I have no desire to continue any disagreements...In fact, that was an attempt to resolve a misunderstanding...Which also happens while trying to communicate online...

Again, this forum is not for chatting...If only 2 people are using the boards for the purpose of it's creation, then THAT IS NOT ALLOWED...LOL....Well, maybe I am wrong and this board and OFF TOPICS area was created for another purpose...I sincerely don't know...

But this is the real reason it is inactive, ONLY 2 users decided to chat and that is not good enough to warrant use of the board....Are was it who we are? **Not looking for a reply***

I have followed the rules each time they have been made clear to me....I haven't been here trying to chat with people who do not want to chat on this board...

Yes, the random posts on the boards can't really be helped, short of just deleting them because the current moderator functions do not give the option to 'merge' into an appropriate thread, which is what would normally happen to these questions. Once the forum moves, the moderator tools will also improve. Everyone's patience is much appreciated.

Your comments about 'no chatting allowed' is a little misplaced. I take it that you refer to the earlier chat thread that was subsequently closed? This thread clearly wasn't working and a polite explanation was given. Again, once the forum moves, we will try the chat thread again to see if more people participate. The previous chat thread proved to be of no interest to anyone but yourself and one other person... and as you both progressed to having an argument/disagreement on the forum, it was time for that thread to get closed. You both, of course, can continue personal disagreements and discussions via MSN or email.

Yes, the board is a little backwards but that is not the reason people are not chatting...

Perhaps there should be a sign on the door that says, NO CHATTING ALLOWED and if you do , we will follow you around like you stole something...

But I don't think it has much to do with the number of individuals not being aware of Sade. I frequent boards where the majority of members are young and they all love and know of Sade's music.
I think the problem here is that the forum isn't very user-friendly at the moment. People come, but they don't stay very long.
Once the forum moves to greener pastures, we should see more fans sticking around.
