I love The group Sade to death and by all means i think that this group should be looked at next years GRAMMYS with all major music awards nominations because this is their best album here in America and I am sorry Lady anta whatever they should do good in country but not the grammies against an icon like Sade..................please people post your intrest early this year for our beloved band Sade..................for the grammys

I KNOW SADE SUNG "STRONGER THAN PRIDE" AT 1989 AMA. BUT I COULD HAVE SWORN WHEN PRIDE CAME OUT SHE SUNG "PARADISE" WHEN IT WAS NEW SINGLE IN 1988 THE PEFORMANCE WAS LIP SYNC AND SHE WORE THE SAME THING IN THE PEFORMANCE THAT SHE DID IN THE VIDEO. I WATCHED THESE SHOW BACK THEN (I LIKED THE MUSIC MORE) IF IT WASN'T THE AMA THEN IT WAS THE GRAMMY"S. DOES ANYONE ELSE REMEMBER THIS OR IS IT JUST ME?

Grammy performance?

Sade has only performed on one major award show and that was back in January 1985 for the American Music Awards. So, though I'd love to see them perform, I think a live performance on the Grammy's or AMA's is asking for a bit too much. The nominations and wins I'm sure will come.

Grammy fave

Sade has always been revered by the Grammy committee. She won Best Pop Album for "Lover's Rock" and right after the CD copies have the "Grammy Winner" sticker on the cover. She's been winning these awards every decade since the 80's. I'm sure this new CD will rack up more Grammy's for them.
