Everybody's Talking - Exit song during the tour
I was lucky to attend six concerts during this tour and at each show, after Sade and the band exited the stage to Cherish The Day, the house lights came on and the song "Everybody's Talking" immediately began playing. Also I just saw a video of the Budapest show and "Everybody's Talking" was also played while fans begin to exit the arena after the show. Does anyone else remember this song playing immediately after the concert finished, just like "Three Little Birds" plays before Sade takes the stage. I've never heard Sade or the band mention this song or this performer, Harry Nilsson. Here's a link if you want to hear the song and see if you remember it being played immediatley after Cherish The Day: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2AzEY6ZqkuE

sweetestgift: I remember Everybody's Talking being played immediately after Sade exited the stage and the house lights came back on at each of the shows I attended. of course Three Litte Birds was played before the start of Sade's set. Anyone else remember some of the songs played between Sade's set and the opening act. I remember Bonita Applebaum, Strawberry Letter, Big Poppa and Harvest for the World. Whenever I hear those songs now, it brings back great memories of waiting for Sade to come onstage and watching the stage being setup.

I remember reading somewhere that Sade personally chose which songs were played between her set and the opening act, which I think is really cool. So does anyone remember any of the other songs played.

Thank you all for your responses. Since the 2001 tour, Three Little Birds has been played before Sade comes onstage. Sade is a big Bob Marley fan. "Everybody's Talking" I had never heard before and never heard Sade mention the song or this artist

Yes, this song was indeed played after the concert. It seems to me for my three concerts, but I'm not sure.

I attended the two shows in Jersey and noticed that "Three Little Birds" was played at some point before Sade appeared. The first show I believe it was immediately before they took the stage. I'm not so sure about the second show though. Also, I don't know what was played after they exited the stage....

Hello thesweetesgift (I am not so lucky! Smiling ), four concerts for me, three in France and one in Germany. And every time I heard these two songs, as opening and closing of the concert (not 100% sure for the first one in Nice, I was too focused on what happened and what had happened. But I still think they were played). Listen to this song (and the opening one, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LanCLS_hIo4) on Youtube recalls the memories!
