Ms. Baker is an ICON, she does not need to open for anyone. I saw Ms. Baker in concert and she's all that. She's very graceful. Now if Sade and Anita Baker was in concert together WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW that would be fyer. But these two women stand alone in their own rite.

love how she is showing love to other artists. lets hope she does teh inside scopp and that our sade will be touring soon.
I agree, however, i never pegged India Arie as someone who would open for Sade either. Anita and Sade do have different styles, however they both would be in the same playlist on pandora, so its not totally impossible
Baker is good, she's also a good composer and seems like a nice personnality sje's got some good songs but I think she is a little too vocal to open for Sade and Sade is somewhat more stylish and hip than Baker whose work has been more like say classical or traditional.
Though Im sure Sade would be happy to serve as a platform for somebody else the best this time would be no others but SADE, cause they need to perfom soooooooooooo many songs

...hopefully will be coming to a town near us soon (as in our “soon”, not the band’s “soon”
). We as fans need no further affirmation by standing on the shoulder alongside Anita Baker yet it was nice to read her comments but when Sade does decide to hit the road, we know it truly will be special. The release of SOL brought to the forefront all their previous work and early on some of us put together our wished set lists and looking at it from this perspective reiterated again the strength of their earlier work and how very few artists can have a span of 10 years from their previous release and go straight to the top with their next.
Keep the faith great fans of Sade and happy September!
